IX Sicilian Days of Medicine – Pathways of Prevention and Therapy for Well-being

The scientific journey that began in 1992 with the Palermo Days of Aesthetic Medicine, later renamed in 2006 as the Sicilian Days of Aesthetic Medicine, continued to evolve until 2024, when the name was further updated to "Sicilian Days of Medicine".
This new designation was chosen to involve both medical and non-medical professionals from all fields and specialisations, as the event is promoted by the Association "Lilli Lorusso – Mano nella Mano – ODV", whose mission includes providing social and healthcare support to individuals who are economically or medically vulnerable.

The central theme of the previous edition was Nutrition, and it will remain so in the current one, as proper nutrition plays a crucial role in both prevention and therapy across numerous conditions, especially chronic diseases.
For this reason, the congress will explore its relevance within Endocrinology and Diabetology, Phlebology and Lymphology, Dermatology, Surgery, Oncology, Sports Medicine and Aesthetic Medicine.

Each of these medical areas will be addressed through diagnostic and therapeutic pathways presented by distinguished speakers—renowned experts who will gladly return, joined by new figures from the scientific community.

The invitation to participate is therefore extended to all medical specialities, healthcare professionals, scientific societies and sponsors, who are called not only to bring valuable scientific contributions but also to support the social objectives of the Association, including the project "Progetto Visita Sospesa – Mano nella Mano".
